Curriculum Vitae

Rachel Lynn is an artist and art educator in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While studying at Moravian College (now Moravian University), she was fascinated by non-silver photography, oil painting, art history, and more. In her arts-based graduate work, she incorporated needlepoint traditions from her youth into her practice. She has artworks in private collections in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, and one of her recent works is part of Lehigh University’s exhibition Here and Now. In her teaching role, she facilitates a choice-based art studio at Fountain Hill Elementary School where students learn to think like artists. Outside of her professional capacities, she is curious about native plants in the area and how they interact amongst themselves as well as with fungi and animals to create a communal support network which is echoed in our own interpersonal relationships. These ideas have been driving her recent artwork.
